Drive to Port Dickson – Part 1

12 till 14 October 2013

On 12 October  2013 (Sat), six of us (2 adults, 4 boys) went on a short holiday to Port Dickson,  Kuala Lumpur’s nearest sea resort. Port Dickson, better known as PD, is located in the state of Negeri Sembilan in a district called Telok Kemang.

We left KL at 1.30pm and reached PD at about 3pm. A total of 1 ½ hours drive, distance covered  90km.

We took the North-South Highway heading south towards Seremban and turned off at the Port Dickson exit. This led to the Seremban-PD Highway which took us straight to PD town. From PD town, we headed to our resort via the coastal road to the Telok Kemang beaches. The toll for the Seremban-PD Highway is RM3.20.

PD's coastline stretches 18km, and you need to familiarise with the miles associated with the hotels as how the locals do. For example, if you ask anyone for direction to your hotel, they will tell you it's at the 8th or 9th mile.
